Intentionality is a big thing for me. That is, knowing what you are doing and why you are doing it. Take for example creating a logo for a business. The colors, fonts, shapes, and styles used all matter, because they communicate something about that brand, whether or not the consumer is aware of it. It’s not just logos though, take for example a company mission statement (or lack of one). When a business has a clearly identified purpose, not only are they more trustworthy in the eyes of the consumer, but they will probably do better as a business as well. Because not only do people like what they can easily understand, but they see the effort and the time that was put in to establish the business.

Like it or not, there is always a motive for doing why you do what you do, (though this is not always consciously revealed). In my opinion, when you can identify what is driving your decisions, you learn more about yourself. It’s the classic know thy self approach. And when you know yourself, you grow in confidence and maturity.
I am a huge fan of Justin Bieber's music. If you've heard his song Intentions, you will get where I am coming from. "Shower you with all my attention, yeah these are my only intentions." Now I might be biased, but this phrasing says it all, straight up he wants to show his girl affection. It's simple and honest; how intentions should be laid out if you ask me.
